Revvolution and the Front Range Airport are excited to announce the date for the 2018 WarBird Auto Classic: Saturday, July 28, 2018.

The event is expected to host over thirty vintage flying works of art complete with both a static showcase and air show, with a complementary display of over 500 immaculate show cars and over a thousand eager attendees.

New event organizer Revvolution brings significant changes that will improve the event and experience for airport users, tenants, participants and spectators while maintaining the core concept that has built the event to what it is today.

For 2018 and beyond, the event will be known as the Warbird Auto Classic , a showcase event at the Front Range Airport and will return to its roots as an event that the Front Range Airport, city of Watkins and Adams County can be proud of.

Revvolution is honored to be brought onboard to manage overall event logistics and promotion for this historic event and return it to the legacy upon which it was founded over a decade ago. “We know how much this event means to the Front Range Airport, its tenants, users and community. We also know the impact it’s made in the past for our veterans and heroes, and we’re excited to announce that all proceeds from the 2018 event will be donated to charities directly benefiting veterans and officers in blue,” explains Revvolution founder Ryan Randels.

“For a number of years, this event has been a special event for the Front Range Airport and Adams County. This year, we’re honored to host the WarBird Auto Classic as a charity event benefiting veterans and officers-in-blue. We encourage everyone to come out and see vintage warbirds and beautiful cars—all while helping us say thanks to the men and women who protect us and our way of life every day,” explains Front Range Airport Director Dave Ruppel.

This event has become a staple in Colorado’s warbird aviation community. “Warbird” represents any vintage military aircraft which is now operated by civilian organizations and individuals, and the community supporting this event will be bringing out some amazing pieces of history for all to enjoy.

Thanks in part to local car clubs around the state, there will be a wide range of automobiles participating in the car show. Organizers expect everything ranging from classic cars to exotics, to modern muscle cars and imports. If you have a vehicle you want to show off, then you’re invited to be part of the show!

Revvolution also invites those with vintage military and police vehicles to come out and display as part of the vintage military vehicle showcase.

In addition to the props and pistons, the event will also host local vendors and artists.

The WarBird Auto Classic is a family event, and supports a great cause. Organizers encourage veterans, heroes, and officers in blue to attend and get the recognition they deserve—this event is for you.

Is there any way to ensure my donation goes to military veterans only? I don’t feel like it’s right grouping police officers in with soldiers.

Hey Joshua! Thank you for your interest in the event. Unfortunate the proceeds from the event will be donated equally to the charities. The charities will both have an on-site presence and you’d be more than welcome to talk with them directly!
